Very honest 'loan' poster

While other labelled their scheme as 'Pembiayaan Peribadi', Bank Muammalat speaks the truth. By joining 1Malaysia hype with their credit product, they called their personal financing scheme as 'Skim 1-Hutang' (scheme 1-loan).

Kedai Mamak's Magic the Gathering duel

It was the 1st time I see this trading card game played at nasi kandar restaurant. (Subaidah, Sungai Dua, Pulau Pinang)

Eat at Nasi Goreng Pak Cik

Nasi Goreng Pakcik (Uncle fried rice)of Batu Uban Pulau Pinang. This dishes has its nostalgic memories attached to one of mine Pulau Pinang-native officemate. Nasi goreng pakcik tastes best on his 'lidah', unfortunately, not on me.

Not all pakcik's dishes is a no-no to me. Well, his Kotiau Kuah taste better then the nasi goreng. Instead of kotiau kuah, one can order bihun/mihun (rice vermicelli), mee (noodle), or maggi (instant noodle) variant.

Next time, i might try Pakcik's Nasi Goreng Kampung

Marrybrown's Nasi Rendang Ria

The core taste of this meal is the rendang itself. Unlike fastfood version of nasi ayam that doesnt taste like one, this rendang is taste like rendang. Suitable for those who 'missed' Hari Raya Aidilfitri's rendang. Marrybrown's Nasi Rendang Ayam is served with vanilla ice cream and non-carbonated rose syrup.

Compare the above picture, which I had dined at Ivory Plaza outlet, with the Bukit Jambul outlet's version below. It seems that Kompleks Bukit Jambul is more generous with more rendang toppings than the Ivory Plaza ones.

Selepas Aidilfitri

the Pulau Pinang's Famous - Nasi Kandar 'Beratur'...

RM 8.40
The Pulau Pinang's famous Nasi Kandar Beratur of Liyaqat Ali restaurant, beside the Penang Indian Mosque.

Beratur means 'queue', because most of the time you have to queue in line to buy / eat this due to large number of buyers. To me, this is the one of the two must go place in Penang for tourist to eat nasi kandar, especially if you're from Malaysia. Why? because this restaurant only operates in Pulau Pinang, while other established nasi kandar restaurant brands can be found in Kuala Lumpur, and west coast of Malaysia.

More in bahasa

Sebelum adanya 'Queensbay Mall', inilah mall yang aku selalu mai. Malangnya bila aku sampai, banyak dah yang nak tutup kedai. Aku try la pergi tengok kot-kot la A&W bukak lagi ke.

Nasib aku kurang baik sikit pasal kali ni, 'full house', kena beratur...

Sampai giliran aku, aku pekena Nasi + Ayam Goreng + Telur Rebus + Sirap Bandung. Aku pilih Ayam goreng sebab baru-baru ini pekena Ayam Goreng Nasi Kandar Kampung Melayu yang sempoi. Sirap Bandung pula aku pilih selepas disyorkan dalam Foursquare. Sirap bandung memang syurr... macam sirap perasa ABC pulak. Saje aku tak amik telur sotong, sebab takut blow poket.

Afrezal... balik... balik...

Lepas tu Main sharpshooter ... score 194/200 = 2 points . Aku main jugak bumper car... tapi tak tangkap gambar la sebab kamera habis bateri.
